"Eric is a super reliable drummer and extremely easy to work with!"

- Michael Garmany, The Holdup

Eric Bumb was born in Orange County, CA and grew up in a rich musical environment of eclectic flavors from the influence of his parents. After exploring the piano and bass guitar, he finally found his calling behind the drum kit. Eric began his professional career at the age of 17 when he joined the “Wheeland Brothers” that combined Reggae, Rock, and a little country. It was then that he embarked on several nation-wide tours where he learned the ins and outs of traveling and performing at a pro-level. Eric was accepted with scholarship to Cornel School of Contemporary Music at Shepherd University where he learned from teachers Jimmy Branly, Abraham Laboriel, Luis Conte, Allen Hinds, and Bill Maxwell. Since graduating, Eric has toured with the likes of The Holdup, KBong, Caitlin Lucia, The Graham Elliot Band and more.
